Joanne was born in Sudbury, Ontario on August 25, 1972.
She relocated to Watrous, Saskatchewan at the age of 9. At the age of 16 she moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her mother Linda Gross-Paterson, her uncle Ernie Paterson and her aunt Corinne Paterson.
She is survived by her husband Brian Fleck, her sister Shauna Gross, her daughter Cheyenne Lynn Chadney, Aunt Darlene Hughs-Paterson and her uncle Dwight Paterson as well as numerous grandchildren, friends and cousins.
