Olga Marion Wagner

With her daughter Jamie by her side, Olga Marion Wagner passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK on February 6/2026. Olga was born in Saskatoon, SK. on August 6/1941.

Olga is survived by her son Gregg; daughter Jamie (Keith) Tyson; 5 cherished grandchildren Amanda (Amy), Jillian and Mitchell Wagner and Shaw and Amber Tyson and one great-granddaughter Charlotte. Olga is also survived by sister in law Carol Cox; brother in law Ron "Joe" (Judy) Wagner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Olga was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Wagner, parents Phil and Mary (nee: Semkiw) Rabuka, inlaws Howard and Donella (Sinclair) Wagner, brother Larry Rabuka, Sister in law Elaine Rabuka, brother in law Bill Cox, nephew Gary Cox.

Olga was raised in Struan, Sonningdale, Harris and Saskatoon. In 1961, Olga married her husband Bill. They lived in and operated the Wagner hardware store in Harris up until the winter of 1966 at which time they purchased and moved to their farm 8 miles west of Harris. Bill and Olga operated a mixed farm consisting of grain land and commercial cattle. Later they switched to raising purebred Charolais cattle. Olga also ran a school bus route for many years. During this time they had a son Gregg in 1963 and a daughter Jamie in 1966. Bill and Olga moved back to Harris in 2000 to enjoy semi retirement. Later, after Bill's passing, Olga moved to Shields to be close to family.

Olga devoted her life to family and community. Aside from her family Olga's greatest joy was found in her kitchen. Cooking was her love language and no one ever left the table hungry. With a garden the size of a small field and a spirit rooted in true farm-to-table living, she created meals that were both humble and extraordinary. Those who knew Olga will remember her as cheeky and a quietly playfull soul with a gentle spirit who never sought the spotlight. She carried herself with grace, charm, kindness, and unmistakable class. A quiet party animal at heart she enjoyed a good spicy Caesar and would happily entertain a glass of wine in good company.

Olga's life was one of quiet devotion to family, community and caring for others. Her warmth, generosity and steady presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A family graveside service will be held for Olga at a later date at the Harris Cemetery.
