Ruben was a, kind hearted gentle soul. He was hard worker, and very creative. When something was needed he would put his best foot forward and get busy. He loved to sit around with friends and talk about life's battles whether they were wins or losses he made the best of what ever they were. He was a positive, humble, smart man. Very kind and caring, loved to laugh and if you needed something and he had it, he'd give it to you. He was very selfless. When he was younger he did what he could to provide for his family while as well going to culinary school to further his education, and also loved to cook for his family.

Ruben was predeceased by his Parents Norman & Bertha Trottier; Sisters Frances Trottier, Theresa Picket; Brother Kenneth Trottier; Son Orland St.Charles; Step Sons Harold Severight, Wayne Thomas; Special niece Tammy Pickett and Elvina his wife

Ruben is survived by his Son Jason St. Charles; Step daughters Rhonda and Crystal Thomas; Brothers Raymond, Ricky Trottier; Sisters Donna, Florence, and Gloria Trottier; Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2025 at Westwood Funeral Chapel followed by the interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
