It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Wilbert Lyle Waters at his home on October 23, 2025.

Wilbert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila Obed; his daughters Crystal Obed and Christine Waters; his son Wilbert Obed; Nephew Eddie Waters; grandchildren Kara Waters, Kayley Obed, Kayla Waters, Kaydence Pritchard, Carson Pritchard, Taylor Chief-Waters, Carter Pritchard, Kyler Pritchard; his great grandchildren Ambrose Young and Brailee Lafond, Zaniel Young; his sisters Genie Martel and Laura Bordeleau; his nieces and nephews as well as all who knew him.

Wilbert is predeceased by his grandson Jordan Bruce Tyler Lafond; brothers Ronnie Waters and Edward Waters; mother Margaret Waters (nee Bonhomme); father Lawrence Waters, and his dear friend Sheldon Munroe.

We will always remember:

Your being there for grandma and us through good and bad times,

no matter what.

We will always remember you grandpa, 

because there will never be another one to replace you in our hearts, 

and the love we will always have for you.
